Breath Collective is a nonprofit performing arts production company.
We exist to shape a revolutionary future for the performing arts.
HERE’S HOW WE DO IT:
Engaging
Immersive, multi-sensory performances merging cultures and trends while pushing the boundaries of genre. We engage audiences from the moment they enter a venue and leave them feeling connected and inspired.
INCUBATING
A new works incubator where we provide a spectrum of artists with income, resources, access, and the supportive environment they need in order to develop their creative ideas into new works—especially underrepresented artists who historically haven’t had these privileges.
PLATFORMING
A multi-genre, multi-disciplinary performing arts festival where we premiere our new works and the works of producers from around the world, showcasing diverse stories and contributing to Cincinnati’s vibrant artistic tapestry.
PRODUCING
Impact-Driven Experiences
Communities united and nourished by relevant and equitable performing arts productions that eradicate systemic barriers, bridge social divides, and forge personal connections to the arts.
STEWARDING
A stable financial footing buttressed by productions that can be packaged and sold to other presenting organizations across the world.
VALUING
“Starving artist” shouldn’t be a thing. We value artists for their contribution to humanity and compensate them fairly for their expertise.
